Produce

Our garden is producing lots of tomatoes, green peppers, zucchini, and soon more! I wish this picture did justice to the size of that zucchini! It is huge! It was more than 4 cups shredded and we had scrapped the inside!
TWINS!!! I was making eggs this weekend and I cracked open a double-yoked egg! I have never seen this before, so it needed to be posted!

North Prairie Cougars

Friday night we enjoyed the first home game of the season! We have now co-oped with 3 other schools so we are quite the team (55 player)! It was nice to get out and cheer on the COUGARS!

Corbin just sat back and enjoyed the game!

We had to leave the game early because daddy had to get ready for 5th quarter, but the Cougars won 41 to 0!!!

Mommy's Night Off!

Corbin wanted to go to the game with daddy.... ...so he packed his bag...
...and off they went! It was a wonderful night off for mommy! She got to read a book and do some laundry! And when the game was over Corbin still had enough energy left to hang out with mommy and daddy half the night!

Calling Grandma

Corbin wanted to say hi! So he pressed the button!
And it said..."It's Grandma!"

Corbin said "Hello! uggh! uggh! ummm! dadaaaa! ohhh!"

Just Like Daddy

Corbin found daddy's tie! How does this thing work?
He's getting it! Just a few lessons from daddy and he will have it down!

August 25 - Garage Party!

We partied! Extra frosting was added!
He had a "Cars" themed party!
We had a car carving competition!
This became the fruit buggy!
We hung out in the yard!
Blow out the candles!
Stuffing his face and ear!!!
He devoured the entire cake!!!

August 24 - Family Party!

On Corbin's birthday, the grandparents arrived and uncles Simon and Evan! Corbin got his first taste of donut (as far as mommy knows anyway).
Then it was time to rip into the gifts! He likes to take his sweet time...play with an old toy for a while then come back to the new ones!
He makes sure to always read the card first!
Watch out...Corbin's on the move!
And believe it or not...he even got his first RC car! Corbin didn't seem to understand the point of it though! He pushed it around!

It was a great birthday though!

Have We Got a Fish Tale!!!

On Wednesday, we went fishing! And Joel caught a fish - 'this big'!!! All Emily caught was a couple weeds - 'this big'!!!

Ok...so some friends of ours invited us up to a cabin on Lake Metigoshe! It was so much fun and really nice to have a day to relax and unwind! We fished and talked for most of the afternoon! We hoped to eat our catch.....but no such luck! Luckily there was some from a prior catch so we didn't have to starve! It was some good eats and great times!

Off to College!

Uncle Simon is back to school! So we went to see his new dorm room! Corbin was more interested in all the game systems they have!
He was ready to play! Just had to turn it on!
When he got bored with the Playstation....he wanted to play Guitar Heros!
Then it was time to kick back and relax!

On the Road, Again!!

We hit the road, again, on Monday! Corbin got to hang out in his new car seat! We drove down to Gma & Gpa's!
It rained a little when we were there! Corbin loves to look out the windows/doors!
Corbin got his first Hard Rock Cafe T-shirt from Uncle Evan from when he was in Florida!
Then on Monday...we headed up to Fargo to meet Dan & Christine. We ate at Famous Dave's!!! Corbin finished an entire kids meal!!! But wasn't to sure about the corn!
We shopped a bit and then sat down for some coffee! It was fun to catch up!
