Corbin's First Movie!

Here Corbin is all excited and ready to go see his first movie in the theater! All the local churches asked the local theater to have the movie Amazing Grace come. Although we get a lot of new movies, we rarely get family friendly ones. It was nice to be able to go to a movie and not feel like we are sinning! Anywho...even though Corbin was cranky for the beginning and we spilled his Peach Puffs all over the floor, it was a really good movie and a nice night out!

Corbin really seemed to like the box of Chewy Gobstoppers! He even got to try some popcorn!
Another good movie that is already out on DVD is Facing the Giants. It is perfect for families and church groups! We had a movie night at our church a few weeks ago and it was a big hit! But, just to warn you, it's a tear-jerker!!!

Weekend Away

Corbin and Mommy got to have a weekend away to Gma & Gpa's house! We started the fun by meeting Gma, Gpa, and Uncle Simon in Fargo.

Then Corbin & Uncle Simon got to play with Corbin's new toys when we got to Gma & Gpa's.
Got to eat some really good food! Gma bought Corbin some Sweet Tator Puffs and he loved them! He didn't seem to care too much for mashed potatoes though (wish I had a picture of his face after that).
Then it was time to ride mommy's pony. It's old, but it still works!
He really seemed to like the pony. He would even move like it was really going to go!

Got My Sock!

He's got his sock

He pulled off his sock!
And even decided to taste his sock!
Tambourine Man

Uncle Evan's Prom

Here Uncle Evan is escorting Kylie....quite the couple....lots of funny stories!!

And here we all are (except Joel)! It was a really good time! And even though it rained a lot, so we couldn't get outside much, it was a really good trip! Thanks for letting us crash at your place! It was so fun to see all of you again! Love you!!

We also spent some time at Great Gma Joyce's in Fargo, but all those pictures are on Gma's camera!

Cheerios Monster

Baby's First Picnic

It was such a nice day yesterday, that we decided we needed to have a picnic. Joel grilled some burgers and fries for us.
Corbin really seemed to like being outside.
Corbin got some Cheerios and a spoon.
He ended up eating the spoon.
It is so nice to finally be able to go outside! We try to go for walks everyday to get the mail or some groceries! It's so nice to not have to be cooped up in the house!

Cheerios

Corbin has become fascinated with feeding himself!
He picks up the cheerios in some pretty funny ways...
and usually ends up getting them in his mouth.
Cheerios are the one thing that makes him sit still, focus, and be quiet for a few seconds!

Sunglasses

Last weekend, since the weather was so nice, we ate a meal on the deck. Corbin was squinting so we got him his sunglasses...but they became a chew toy instead!

Cracker Face

Today we went out to eat at the local restaurant, George's. We were on a walk and decided we didn't feel like cooking so we took a detour. We didn't bring anything for Corbin along, being that is was a spontaneous trip and he realized we were eating and he wasn't. So, we took a trip through the salad bar and found some crackers for the munchkin. Needless to say, he wasn't very thrilled. (It was probably that it was sticking to the roof of his mouth more than the taste, but the faces were priceless!) He even got to feed himself! He took little bites and got crumbs everywhere!!!

On The Move

Corbin is officially ON THE MOVE! He is crawling everywhere and into everything! He doesn't crawl like you would imagine though-he has his one knee on the ground, then pushes off with his other foot...usually ends up going sideways!!
There he goes.
And he loves his walker!
He can even go one-handed!
We are so proud of all his accomplishments! We now have to make sure we never leave him alone and we have to "baby-proof" EVERYTHING!!!!

He Has A Tongue!!!!

Corbin has learned a new trick! Joel was hanging out with the little man and he started sticking out his tongue like it had a bad taste to it! He realized he has a tongue! I love these pictures!
Our little goof ball!
What a talent!
Practice, practice, practice!

Happy Easter.....and Snow!!!

We had a pretty uneventful Easter, but Corbin looked super cute in his Easter duds from Grandma Cathy!!! Hopefully the pants will still fit him in the summer so he can use them as golfing pants when they go for men's night!
Corbin kept me company as I cooked a Chinese meal on Saturday evening! He has really mastered the skill of release!!! Everything goes on the floor...he looks at the toy in his hand then opens wide his fingers and crash....then he looks down to see where it landed! We have assumed our roles as retrievers!
Ok, so here is something a little depressing...it is snowing today (Tuesday)! My little daycare girl was so excited to use the weather chart today because we haven't used the "snow" one for awhile...she went right to the chart after breakfast!!

There isn't much, but it is still coming down!

We really were boring this Easter though. We were invited over to a family from our congregation for lunch and that is about it! Although the Easter Bunny did leave me a basket and Joel a chocolate bunny...Corbin got some baby food! We are so exciting aren't we?

Monday we just relaxed, watched movies and ate junk food!!! It was nice to have a "down day" after all our Easter excitement (haha)!

Blue Bug Man???....No, It's Grandpa Don

Grandpa Don is getting ready for spring...can you tell he's a agricultural producer (AKA...farmer)! Corbin is going to think he's crazy someday!

Another Fun Weekend with Gma Cathy

Gma taught mommy how to make bread! Corbin helped too! We got all full of flour!
Gma Cathy had us go on an Easter hunt on Palm Sunday...
....Corbin can't wait until he gets to try candy...
...but for now, his books will do...
...so worn out that he couldn't even stay awake to say goodbye to Gma Cathy!
"Bye Gma! Thanks for the fun visit!"

Trip to Gma & Gpa's

A few weeks back, Corbin and Emily took a trip to my parents. I couldn't get the pictures to upload until today...so here they are!Corbin in his mommy's high chair!
