The boys love to create! So I let them go crazy today!!!
I have a rubbermaid container I filled half full with oatmeal and put sand toys in for rainy or snowy days. And today...I walked away for a few minutes and came back to a kitchen of oatmeal and sand toys instead of just a box. 
But they were so quiet and played so well together for those few minutes that the five minutes of clean up was TOTALLY worth it!!!
(and now as I right this post, the boys are in the kitchen (by themselves) with paper, scissors, stickers and markers....I may have lost my mind!)

I LOVE it. We lose our minds sometimes over here as well...but it's agreed, the mess is worth the fun!! :-)
