Extra Extras

Does anyone happen to know what kind of flower this is?? I have plates with this flower on it growing by my house! How ironic!!

Anywho...I am addicted to sewing! Alison showed me how to make these "taggy" blankies and I think they are so cute! (And easy!!!)

And here is our bathroom remodel!

(I don't know where the before pictures are...so you just get to see the after.)

The counter used to be yellow with bleach spots and fingernail polish spots!! And the cabinets/drawers where ply-wood with a dark stain and bronze pulls. The bathroom is in the basement and I thought it really needed to be lightened up a bit! So here it is! (almost) FINISHED!!! (just need to paint the framing white)

Corbin has a new way of sleeping...taggy on his head!

He also enjoys (or Joel does) wrestling!

And this week he got his first chicken drumstick!

He ate 2!!!

Grandma visits!!

When Grandma comes....the fun begins!

We got to hang out on the deck and take a dip in the pool!

Corbin was really good at sharing! He loves to share his pacifier with anyone willing to open their mouth for it!

Random!

Yesterday, after church, we were invited to the lake! We had a really fun time tubing!

But, man are we sore today!!! We also got lots of tube-burn!

Corbin's favorite food is Mac and cheese!

We planted lots of flowers this year! The past 2 years this area has been so overgrown with perennials that is just wasn't worth the work....but we dug them up and made the front look pretty!

I have really been enjoying sewing! I made Corbin a "taggy" blanket! He loves the thing! He almost likes it more than his pacifier...but not quite!

Our Many Adventures!!!

Where do we start?? We arrived at the Heitkamp Farm on Monday the 8th!

Corbin loves his toothbrush, just doesn't seem to understand it's purpose yet.

Tired after a long day of play.

What is that??? It's Fudge, the dog.

Corbin got clothes pinned by grandma! She was trying to keep his pants up!

Then we made a cake for Simon's birthday! He really likes to play guitar and it really good at it too....so we thought we would make him a guitar cake!

It didn't turn out too bad! We only had the heart to eat the fret board though!

We figured we better save Corbin's first taste of cake for his birthday. So, we gave him some ice cream instead! He actually did pretty good with the spoon!

Then, Joel and I (emily) left Corbin with my parents and went down to Sonshine! It was our first time leaving Corbin! It was pretty tough!

We camped! It was an adventure! We ate some really good meals though!

And we got to see JEREMY CAMP!!!! (Can you sense the excitement????)

I read a lot of the days away!

The Son was so bright, we had to wear shades! (Sorry, I know it's corny!)

I only called a few times to check on the baby....honest!

We hit a garage sale while at Sonshine and I found this trunk for $5!!! It is amazing! It has 5 drawers and some hangers! Now, we just have to find a way to get it up here! It was Corbin or the trunk.....it was a tough choice!

On our way to TRF, we stopped in Fargo and saw Luke, Kyla and Shay Matthew! Shay has gotten so big! He is such a cutie! Corbin looked so tiny next to him!
