Neat way to teach kids to put coat on.

I learned this trick to teach kids to put on their coats while I was waiting for Corbin at story hour. A daycare lady showed me how she gets all her kids coats on quick. Isn't it neat?

Corbin started Story Hour on September 15. He loved it! He had gone twice last year and wasn't as sure about it, but this year he went right into the class room....not even a glance back at me! He sat down in a seat and joined the other 18 children!

This first class they learned about bears. They spend an entire hour doing activities themed with something (bears, fish, monkeys....). The "teachers" do an amazing job!!! I am so glad that such an amazing program is just a drive away!

Elias and BJ (the little boy I watch) just played with the younger kids in the waiting area while Corbin and the older kids had "school".

Lazy Labor Day

I know that Labor Day has just begun...but we are going to be lazy today!

The boys and I (emily) are watching tv, eating cinnimon rolls, and playing....while Joel sleeps! How long do you think he will sleep until? noon? two? We shall see!
