Off to College!

Uncle Simon is back to school! So we went to see his new dorm room! Corbin was more interested in all the game systems they have!
He was ready to play! Just had to turn it on!
When he got bored with the Playstation....he wanted to play Guitar Heros!
Then it was time to kick back and relax!

On the Road, Again!!

We hit the road, again, on Monday! Corbin got to hang out in his new car seat! We drove down to Gma & Gpa's!
It rained a little when we were there! Corbin loves to look out the windows/doors!
Corbin got his first Hard Rock Cafe T-shirt from Uncle Evan from when he was in Florida!
Then on Monday...we headed up to Fargo to meet Dan & Christine. We ate at Famous Dave's!!! Corbin finished an entire kids meal!!! But wasn't to sure about the corn!
We shopped a bit and then sat down for some coffee! It was fun to catch up!

New Shoes!!!

When Corbin started walking almost 3 months ago, I wanted to get shoes on him....but he won't have it. So, every once in a while I try them on again...and he falls, and falls, and falls! And then screams! This time, he didn't scream though! He just got up and walked!
I was so excited that he finally got to use them! He got them when he was born as a gift...
and now that he's almost one! He knows how to use them!

FIRST PLACE, BABY!!!! WHOO HOO!!!

Even though we had a pretty disappointing game in Denver.... the Cubs are now in 1st place! Amazing!

(Now we just hope they will stay that way....hopefully by the time this is posted it will still be true!)

Corbin's phone

Corbin has started to pretend he is on the phone...all the time! Everything becomes his phone! Sometimes he uses an actual phone, sometimes it's a toy....but now it is his bottle! I had to show you his skill!
He is having a pretty long discussion with however is on the other end!

The Stats!

Corbin got weighed and measured today! The stats were surprising! He now weighes in at a whopping 18 lbs (tiny) and is 28 5/8 inches tall! He is just a little squirt! He is in the 2% for his weight and 7.6% for both weight and height! Crazy!!! The nurse told me that I need to start feeding him ice cream!

Colorado, Convention & Cubs!!!

Well, I suppose the best place to start would be at the beginning...although it's been so long ago! The trip we have been fundraising for is here!!!! We are on our way to Colorado for YC '07!!

This is Joel and the youth group!
We met up with the group from Williston and did some camping! It was fun to have another group to share the trip with!
Corbin and Emily got dropped off once we hit Colorado! We got to vacation at Luke & Kyla's!

Next it was time to play catch...

And stared out the door!
Corbin tried to call daddy, but the silly phone didn't work!

We did a bit of shopping!
Ate and made noise!
And had a good time doing it!
Then, we took a trip to Old Town. We got a bit wet, but it was just the perfect day to cool down!

It was so much fun to hang out with them! We really miss them and can't wait until the next time!

Corbin's got a ticket!!! I wonder what it's to? The circus? No. The zoo? NO!!!

Sadly, the game didn't end on such a happy note, but it was still fun to see a live game! (And pay a million dollars for a soda and popcorn!)
Sunday morning we worshipped with the LB-ers from Aurora!
Then, we headed home! (Notice the mountains!)
"I got a dollar, I got a dollar, I got a dollar, hey, hey hey HEY!!!"
And the adventure is over! We had a blast! We don't miss the drive, but we love the memories!

CRAZY DAYZ!

Grandma and Grandpa came up for a visit! We has some fun getting up really early and going to Crazy Dayz! Joel and the youth group sold mini donuts as a fundraiser and Janice and I shopped (and sat on the couch at the consignment shop!)!!! It was a fun day, but very tiring! Then we came home and ate some noodles!
Obviously, Corbin loved them!
Then bright and early this morning they headed back home.

(Also, we think Corbin may have said his first word....ice cream. He said it while we were at Crazy Dayz and 4 of us swear that he said it...so I guess it's final. Corbin's first word was "ice cream"!!!)

A Rocking Fish???

We have hit some awesome garage sales this summer! One had this super funny rocking fish! It was a great deal and Corbin loves it! He crawls on it and rocks like mad!

Tomato, Tomato

Our garden is producing!!! Joel came home with a ripe tomato on Tuesday! It was pretty exciting considering we haven't ever gardened before this year and we are actually getting food from dirt! It's a miracle! (I kill every plant I'm given, usually!) So, we did what any normal person would do and ate it....on tacos!
