Playing in the Snow!

It has officially snowed in the northern part of ND! We only have a few inches, but it's here. And probably for good. We got Corbin all bundled up and went outside to play in the fresh powder.
Corbin loved it!
He was all smiles! He even ran around in the snow for awhile and didn't like the idea of coming inside!
Then we brought the snow indoors! I used to do this all the time with daycare and they loved it! We would put their gloves on and they would have a blast...
no surprise, Corbin loved it, too!

Thanksgiving Weekend

We got to Gpa & Gma's and right away the mess began! Thanksgiving Day...
Simon helped carve the turkey!
Gma Cathy and Aunt Pam working hard in the kitchen.

I didn't get any pictures of us sitting down for the meal. It was my family and my aunt & uncle! We had an enjoyable time and really good food!

3rd stop...Fargo

Our third place to rest was Fargo. Corbin got to dress toga after the pool.
He found his own place to sit and relax.

Target makes kid sized chairs that look like the chairs in our living room! It was really hard not to buy it! But if we would have bought it, we couldn't have brought Corbin home with us...it was a tough decision.
Corbin enjoyed breakfast in bed!

We also enjoyed many restaurants along the way! If you are ever in Fargo/Moorhead and want to try something new, go to the Thai Orchid! It is amazing!!!

2nd stop...Fergus

We had a great time in Fergus! Corbin loved playing basketball in the pool! This is the first time that Corbin has enjoyed the water from the start! Usually it takes him a few minutes, but this time it took no time at all! He was fearless!
My friend, E and her 2 boys came and swam with us! It was so much fun to see them all again!
We went to our favorite place to eat in Fergus...Don Pablo's! It is so good! Corbin blows on his "hot" food...so here we are cooling off his taco meat!
We also stopped at Jazzy Fox Bistro, a place I worked. Corbin really enjoyed hanging out with the piano player! She played kids songs for him! It was really cute!
We had dessert and then headed out! It was great to be back in Fergus!

Starting Our Trip

When we started our trip, we saw a moose...so we took a picture! That was on our way to John and Caristy's.
Caristy made some delicious pudding that Corbin really enjoyed!
We also got to see little Nikolas! And when I say little, I mean little! He is 3 months old and still not as big as Corbin was when he was born!!! He is sure a cutie!!!
We enjoyed some pizza! And the boys enjoyed a ride in the truck!
We had a great time catching up! Thank you so much!

Sorry For the Wait!

We have been busy as can be! So, time to catch up! We went to visit Gma Janice & Gpa George. Corbin really enjoyed the cookies! It was a quick trip, but we had a good time!

Bubble Bath

Tonight, Corbin got a rare treat....bubbles in the bath. He has had bubbles before, but it just seemed like the right night to add some and take pictures.
He really enjoys dumping from bowl to bowl.
He loves bath time.
Oohh!
And the highlight is when the bath is just beginning and just ending, when the water is running and he can fill his bowl straight from the faucet!

And he smells so clean!!!

Pumpkin Carving

Gma Cathy and Uncle Evan came up for the long weekend. We decided it was time to carve some pumpkins. So Corbin and Gma put them in the back of his truck. Then drove them into the kitchen.
We took out all the seeds.
Corbin really liked the slimy feel, but not that they stuck.
We had some pretty scary looking pumpkins!

Cinnamon Toast

In my (emily's) family, we had cinnamon toast a lot growing up...still eat it today! So, today was Corbin's first taste! And believe it or not, sugar and cinnamon on toast is a hit!!!

Lil' Artist

Corbin got this Aquadoodle for his birthday. He loves it! It is completely mess free, just add water and the kid goes crazy!

Trick or Treat

Thanks to his cousins, Corbin was a bee this year. He was such a cute bee!
He didn't say trick or treat, but he did knock on the doors.
Some houses we just strolled him up to.

He got a pretty good amount of candy. He even got some money! We ran into some pretty crazy costumes that he wasn't quite sure what to do...cry or smile...he was stone faced for most of the experience. It was fun though. And now begins the eating!!!
