Elias plays peek!

I have a super cute video of Elias playing peek-a-boo at the dinner table...but I can't get it to upload! I have tried twice now and it just won't work...hopefully it will work some other time because it is absolutely adorable! He puts the wash cloth over his face and then pulls it down and smiles! So adorable!!!

Random...and one for Daddy

Elias now has a toy basket in our living room. We had been putting all of Elias' toys in with Corbin's in our storage ottoman, but we couldn't seem to find them in there!

This one is for Daddy! The shirt says "2nd in command after dad"!

Yesterday, I made a cleaning list that I was looking forward to checking off! I got distracted while I was in the kitchen (cleaning) and decided to make a big mess! I made bread...one normal size loaf, one braided loaf, and 12 little mini loaves (cutest ever)!!! Corbin really thought they were neat! He made sure not to eat the crust.

Bath time with Elias! He's my baby!!!

No pictures of the tooth yet! But this was a cute picture of him eating his carrots.

Eli's 1st Tooth

His tooth is through! Poor kid! He is making a pretty big production!

I tried taking pictures, but he will need to be sleeping!

A Rough Day for Elias

Yesterday was a big day for Elias, but rough! Lots of Tylenol and numb-gum! First, Elias was cranky because his first tooth was almost through! Then, we decided to add to the reason for his tears by bringing him in for shots! He only cried when the shots were given. He also weighed in at 17 pounds (I thought he was bigger) and measured 26 1/2 inches long.

Big Boy Bathtime

Brotherly Love

Match 'Em Monday

Corbin was trying to be funny and "beep" his nose!

Being I bought new matching diapers for the boys (being Elias has the same size tush as Corbin) I figure I might as well use them for Match 'Em Monday posts, right?

Elias is so chunky!

"Hey, brother bear, thanks for being my shoulder to lean on." -Elias
"Yep, no problem, just stop touching me!" -Corbin

Corbin has mastered the skill of "give and take". If Elias has a toy he wants, he "gives" him a new toy and "takes" the toy he wants. The art of distraction...I wonder how long it will be before Elias catches on?

Completely Random

We seem to have so many issues with our water! Yesterday, while Corbin was taking a bath the water turned brown...like really brown! It was absolutely gross! It was back to normal in the afternoon...sometimes though it lasts this way for 3 days! Yuck!

Corbin and I made a Choo-Choo cake last night! It was yummy!

Elias with his paci in upside-down!

And I think this picture shows the mistake I made...and am only going to make once! We got a package and I let Corbin play with the packing peanuts...yeah, not my smartest move!!!

And this would be Corbin hiding from me, while we waited to take the choo-choo out of the oven.

Leap For Joy for a New Nursery!!!

On Saturday, a lady from our church and I (emily) started painting the nursery and the bathrooms of our church. They turned out really nice! We also were able to get the dividers in the bathrooms repainted.

The froggy!

And the verse of inspiration!

On The Phone

Corbin has been really into talking on the phone! Whenever someone calls, he wants to talk to them. I will be tempted to hand him the phone when a solicitor calls...he will talk their ear off!!!

Indoor Picnic

It was another cold day. We were watching a movie, but decided it was time to eat. So, we went into the kitchen and packed a picnic lunch. Corbin made sure to help.

He helped carry it down the stairs.

And set up our picnic blanket! It was a good time! Too bad Corbin was so into the movie that he wouldn't eat! Oh well!

Match 'Em Monday Returns

Finally the boys are getting over their sickness! I know their shirts don't match, but they are the same color...and their butts are oh so cute!!!

Don't you agree?

I love this picture!

WAY TOO COLD!!!

I am just posting to let you know that it is -23 degrees!!! It is so cold neither vehicle would start this morning! Also, Corbin, Elias and I (emily) haven't gotten out of the house since Sunday evening so we are going a bit stir crazy! But I can't take them out in this weather! So, again we sit at home for another day! Anyone have any creative ideas for me? I am desperate!!! Something for a 2 year old (that wants nothing more than to go outside) to do?

Gingerbread Choo Choo

After Christmas, Corbin picked up a make-your-own gingerbread train in the clearance.

Corbin was very excited to put all the candy on it.

He continued to ask for more and more frosting, so instead of taking it off the train, I gave him a little amount on the table...over and over and over again!

Here is the choo choo! And that would be Corbin's fingers taking some of the frosting off the platform!

And Corbin eating the frosting!

(I can't believe he went to bed with all that sugar in his system! He was jumping on the bed when I was reading stories, but as soon as I left the room, he fell asleep!)

Sweet Tators

I decided to start making baby food at home instead of paying 50 cents a jar for it! I baked 4 sweet potatoes, blended them, put them in an ice cube tray and then into a ziploc! It took very little time and for 16 meals it's worth it!

Making Bread

Corbin helped me make bread yesterday! I gave him a little to knead, punch, cut into pieces and bake. He was pretty excited to "help"!

Lime Disco Butt.....I LOVE IT!!!

Foot Long

Gma Janice brought home a foot long hotdog for Corbin!

Choo Choo

Corbin loves trains! He got some for Christmas and he plays with them all day long!

So, while we were in TRF we went to see the "choo choo" that they have there. Corbin was very excited!

Then, Joel decided to ask the elevator if we could go inside of theirs, being he used to work there.

Corbin loved it! He was smiling non-stop from ear to ear!

"Christmas" in TRF

This past week we went to TRF to have "Christmas" with Joel's parents. It was our first vacation in 2009 and it was so relaxing and fun!
We made a trip or two to Walmart while we were there!

In the ball pit! Corbin loved it! I'm pretty sure he would have played in there all day!

Corbin and Gma grinding coffee!
